Generous nose with toasted oak, black pepper, earth, unripe red berries, a touch of smoke and some green stalks. There is a bit of development in the form of vegetable stew and dried fruitiness.
Very dry with a medium+ acidity, medium(-) body, medium intensity and medium tannins.
The fairly light colour and the toasted oak had me guessing Burgundy. Even though this is missing the filling and comes of as unpolished I quite enjoyed it.

Still smells good but very reticent on the palate when first opened and very sharp. I thought I'd waited too long on this last bottle. As it warmed up, it opened up and brought back the raspberry and blackberry flavors ending with meat, leather, and pepper. Too bad I have no more.

very nice and straight forward syrah wine , old world style with scidity and animalistic tones. Good balance Nice to drink a bit cool, the essence of a country wine, it will keep, but no reason to wait.

Past its prime, most of the fruit is gone. Whatever´s left is enjoyable though a bit fatigued.

Drinking window says this should be old but that was not right. I don't think it will get any better but still very good to drink.
