  From a pristinely cellared bottle, this deep garnet wine opens within the first hour of decanting to become something special. With a core of dark plum and morello cherry fruit, it adds complex notes of leather, cigar box, lavender, mulling spices and loamy earth. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic, seamlessly alcoholic (13.3%), softly oaked and with fully resolved tannins, it is impressively dense on the mid-palate and finishes with equally impressive length. This fully mature, beguiling Syrah is absolutely delicious! Those holding well-cellared specimens should pop the cork. Drink now.
