Well, 15 years in a bottle and we decided to crack it open. In this case, age does equals quality. I read some reviews prior to opening this bottle and wasn't expecting much. I was surprised!! All the notes suggested by wine professionals and other bloggers (concerning better vintages) was dead on with this 2004 vintage. Almonds, French Bread bakery notes, citrus, smooth, and just simply delicious. This was an education on holding on to a bottle and letting time do its magic.

Yep, still lots of life, showing secondary flavors. Pretty good though this bottle had a bit of sulfury funk to it.

Age has definitely made this wine better. Good acidity finer bubbles and layers of flavor.
