Consistent with previous bottles. Delightful acidic profile. Sour cherries, raspberries, hint of leather, aniseed. Not a lot of tertiary nites here. Very balanced. Without like to have had more bottles to see where this goes (if anywhere). Aging glacially.

Garnet. On the nose, a lovely fruit sweetness still. Fresh. Black pepper on both nose and palate - especially with some air. Fruits were led by a core of black cherry with red fruits - raspberry especially in evidence. Baking spices (vanilla) in the background and well integrated behind the aforementioned black pepper. The tannins have softened right out. In a really in a great place.

Finally! MY 6 or 7 bottle within last 5 years. Since the last one couple of years ago, I have decided to wait bit longer. Now it his in a very sweet spot. Oak started to integrate and secondary savory notes are coming up. ON the nose I have cured meats, bluberry, some herbs and roasted peanuts with hint of tobacco and quality oak. Nose starts to be charming enough. Really good effort for the vintage. But as usual - if you want to love guigal top wines - you need to be very patient. Event base cuvee needed 10+ years in tight vintage.

Was much more open than the previous bottle. Pretty good for a small year. dark berries, spices, smoke...animal notes are starting to develop Medium to full body Will revisit my last bottle in 3 years
