My most dubious bottle - mid-shoulder fill, no seepage, but the cork was wet nearly to the top and the bottom crumbled on extraction. Muted and a bit metallic on opening and decanting, I though it spoiled, but again, with time in the decanter (at least an hour), it came around as an excellent old-style claret. Needs proper food, of course.
excellent linear claret, needs decanting and at least an hour of air time before you serve it with lamb - don't screw it up and serve out of the bottle or with the wrong dish, this is a claret after all
Cantemerle/La Lagune vertical (Dobbs Ferry): My favourite wine of the lineup. So much complexity here, all sorts of truffled, cedary, smoky, leathery and tobacco elements coming together around a core of red fruits that are still quite fresh and lively. This is drinking spectacularly well right now with incredible balance and length, a really stunning mature claret.
