  Beautiful barnyard notes floating off the top of this fully mature wine. Cool notes of old cellar and clay remind me of really old school boned wines at the beginning of my love affair with the matured wines of the region. Long caressing finish that leaves dry and light footed. Its still in the elegant phase. Drink

  Rather youthful and tannic. Cedar, cranberry and leather notes on the full bodied palate. A good drink with burgers, rosemary fries, and bok choy.

  Amazingly enough this was practically unchanged since the last time I tried one in 2014: forest fruits, yeast and leather on the nose, then a thick, chewy mouthful of plum, cranberry and cherry. Still quite youthful, but a little rustic, compact and even rather stodgy.
  No hurry if your cellar is cold, plenty of years ahead, but I doubt it will improve much - a perfectly decent wine but neither a particularly good Nenin nor a particularly good 2000.

  Pop and pour. It shows a brownish color and high acidity. I thought this bottle was gone downhill. Next 4 days at the cellar, it recovery to a dark red color, round, balanced acid and tannin., showing aromas of tobacco and tar. Last bottle of 12...
