Past its best, not sure if it was due to the bottle storage, this was aged deep pink, with tinges of brown too. Cute pink bottle did not save this experience!
Oxidative nose, funky notes which did not seem to go away. We gave up on the rest of this bottle after 1 hour...
Thanks to SKT for having us at his home for the Italian theme afternoon of home-cooking (Chef LMK prepared Iberico pork ribs and a delightful Angus tomahawk steak for us). At least the rest of the Italian wines were much.. MUCH better!

Purchased in 2012 and forgotten in cellar until today. Did not expect much from this 10+ year old $15 Cava but was pleasantly surprised. Showing amber in the glass and heavy on tertiary notes - dried fruit and nuts, definitely losing carbonation but still drinkable and pleasant. Old for sure, but aging gracefully.

No great expectation from an $8 Cava Rosé, but this went well with a variety of sushi. Simple, fruity, sourdough with a touch of sweetness, and on point. You can do a LOT worse in this price category.

A simple sparkling Rosé from Spain.
Light salmon in color.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and large bubbles.
Dry on the palate with limes, citrus, green apples, light raspberries and minerals.
A little much for me with the big bubbles, but good for parties.
12% alcohol by volume.
84 points.
