  • Rich and intense yet so smooth and polished with delicious buttery notes. Still fresh, the oak is effortlessly integrated. A timely reminder as to why Meursault is so sought after despite the price tag. Suave and heavenly! 95 points

  • “Mixed Bag of Chardonnays from around the World”-Tasting, Wine 4 (blind), in November 2013: From half-bottle. The wine was medium yellow-golden in colour and offered a rather shy nose of apple, pear, vanilla and some smoke. On the palate the medium- to full-bodied wine showed apple, lemon, lime, grapefruit and some vanilla, paired with medium-plus prominent acidity and very good length. Acidity and oak were not yet well-integrated and stood out and despite the obvious quality of the wine it had not yet found its balance. Needs time. My favourite wine of the flight; 89+ points for now, with good potential to improve with mid-term cellaring.
