Do not be fooled by the generic Bourgogne designation. This is high class juice all the way. Lighter translucent brickish red. The nose is filled with light red cherry and sous bois, gout de terroir, whatever you want to call it, it is that undeniable sense of place that could only be from the cote de nuits. Light dry finish. Wonderful.

A beautiful nose of cherry and raspberry fruit and spice lead way to a dark cherry, earthy spicy herbaciouness. A lovely Bourgogne which is certainly worth seeking out.

Open the second day. Darn this smells great. Pronouced, rich red fruits, sous bois, again being played on another level. Better the second day two. Wasn't showing this way the first. Dark cherry, cinnamon, Pinot spice. Great texture on the palate too. Darn tasty.
Its so much better on day two that I think this is destined for the cellar. Maybe wait three years for the next one.

Lovely fruity and elegant burgundy.
Nose: Strawberry, rasperry, iron and something meaty behind this.
Flavor: Cherries, vanilla hints, controlled acidity.
