Oh No! Maybe it is just me but this relatively straightforward bottle of VV Gevrey Chambertin beats the stuffing out of the higher end Pinot Noirs I've been drinking lately. I really love the new Rhys and Brewer Clifton bottles I've had in the past six months but this one is just so cool and crunchy and mineral laced. And it seems like just a baby! Have to think it will go for at least another ten years easy. Nose of sappy red cherries and cranberry with a bit of mint thrown in. In the mouth is is just so delicious and stony. Tastes like powdered rocks. Got to find more of this somewhere...

AN drank a bottle with Ann Albin in Hilton Head in late Sept 2005. Lovely! Not quite as good as the Faiveley Champonnets, but nice nose and well balanced. Bought two more bottles after tasting it.

Drank with Mar when Jimmy was here. Need decanting. Pleasant, earthy burgundy. Not particularly lucsious but showed a bit of the terrior
