The white pepper on this wine really is the center player. The wine was decanted several hours before the meal and it retained this disctinctive note. Spice cake, plum, I enjoyed this a lot.

@ Mr Chow's with Spring Keyes & Erica Freshman. Light gold color with medium forming legs and aromas of cut green grass, lemon and geranium. It's balanced and has flavours of lemon and geranium with a light/medium body. Polished texture with a medium finish - Cork was virtually soaked through, mold was evident on the top(under the foil). Surprisingly it was not oxidized, and seemed lighter than my prior experience.

(Chateau de Fonsalette Cotes-du-Rhone Blanc) This was a barnburner. It was a loud whine that screamed in your ear. Explosive waxey tropical flavors that coated the palate and just hung around. Very nutty with lovely acidity. Fat like a Southern Rhone white should be but still acidic and poised.

Full bodied and textured with honey and citrus, gardenia aromas and flavors. Rich and elegant.

Subtle notes of honeysuckle and pineapples. Perfectly pleasant, but perhaps a tad too simple.

Roof BBQ with Eric/Katherine, Harvey/Esther, Lambert/Iris (Roof): somewhat subdued. like the Y, perhaps should have given more breathing time. again, being too close to the BBQ didn't help!
