  • My 4th tasting. The 42% vol. seems to be the best.

Stunning nose of the best Marc in the world. Very very seductive and dramatic for Marc.

Full-bodied, dense, spicy, wood, beautiful tannin, round and balance...then very smooth.

Finish is unutterable. Dense ? Deep ? Sweet ? Long and lasting, tender finished. So sad that it's really rare. From the rest of my 1986 bottle, I don't share even one sip to anyone.

This is one of the best thing in my life, I'm serious !!!

    99-100/100.................truly sweet sensation................

  • My Japanese friend, Koji, opened the 1986 to test with me few years ago. I becomes Marc-lover since then. I buy many others producer and finally found out that...the best is from DRC.

    I tested 1986, 1987, 1988 and the new released 1898.
1986 is still my favorite one due to the elegant impact and beautiful complex with the killin' softly aftertaste.
1987 is aggressive, too much affect from alcohol, 1988 is quite nice but a little bit strong, 1989 becomes beautiful stuff again but not as elegant as 1986.

DRC's Marc de Bourgogne is one of the best thing in my enjoying the living life-style....along with Single Malt Lagavulin Vintage Edition. I'm now continue buying both of them every vintage as many as I can find.

ps. for DRC's Fine de Bourgogne 1979....um....except Louis XIII...this is my second best !!!
