Similar notes without the depth and richness as our last tasting in 2014. Black cherries, blackberries, licorice, and some earthiness in the nose with berry fruits in the flavor. Nice complexity and a medium to long finish.

Popped and poured last nite with our makeshift Passover dinner with the Pollacks. Dark red/blackish in color. Nose is earthy/mushroomy, a bit of must along with some aromas of black fruit. Medium body, still some black cherry fruit here, along with some spice. Tannins are resolved, traces of prunes along with a savory quality. The wine is in far better shape than I expected, and was enjoyed by all

This is drinking really nice. Great color, perfume and balance on the palate. Great plummy cab that is in no hurry of fading any time soon. I didn't take to these early on in their life but time has been favorable to this wine. Tasty right now.

Wonderfully smooth and plush, this bottle offered up notes of ripe red cherries, earth, mocha, and ceder. Attacks right away with ripe but pure cherry and raspberry. Excellent mid-palate concentration, finishing a bit more savory, round and long. Have had several vintages of Jones Family cabs and Heidi did a great job with all of them. Drink up but has the structure to go a few more years.

Very similar notes to 1.5 years ago. A bit more restraint but still has bright red fruit and acidity. Wonderful wine.
