  • Color: Quite a dark gold.

Nose: Powerful, aromatic nose of peach, apricot, and pineapple, with honey, pollen, toasted nuts, fresh seawater, and some chalkiness. Great nose.

    Mouthfeel: Full-bodied, rich, and rounded.

Palate: Honey, pineapple, and ripe peach, with good acidity to balance the sweet fruit, and a nice hint of the minerality and brine from the nose. Big and bold, with a nice complex finish.

This is really great for the price and a very good, balanced full-bodied white by any measure. One of the very few times I find myself above the critics on scoring. Very nice label design if such things matter to you.

  • A lovely fresh nose - nice and minerally with green and tropical fruits. There's a lovely maritime feel on the palate. Very crisp and fresh. Like a grown up Gros Plant.
