Golden amber color. Fully mature, probably a decade ago. Now over the hill, or for English palates. Aroma primarily of caramel and a hint of lacquer. Tastes rounded and full bodied, with burnt vanilla, shellac, bitter lemons, and a long and bitter aftertaste. A bit too much alcohol as well.

(Kistler Chardonnay Durell Vineyard) Medium dark golden yellow color; hard caramel candy, oak and sweet lemon nose; tasty, rich, young yet but with a little oxidation on mid-palate, good depth and minerality; long finish

Amber gold, nuts and caramel with acidity to keep old flavors crisp on palate. Monument.

Badly oxidized. Dumped. Pisses me off that I paid all that $$ on release and this is what I get.
