This wine has it all. Depth, power, grip, density, gravitas, aromatics, earth and a healthy dose of je ne sais quois. I like my richebourg on the powerful side so this was an ideal window for me to taste this again. Did not disappoint.

The first time I’ve had this that it was “open”, recognizing that’s a relative term with this vintage of DRC Richebourg. It was nice to be drinking and enjoying this vintage, rather than hypothesizing about its future. Still early days, but we got a better read than usual.

Another flawed bottle today the 90's DRC's are killing us. VA and corked too.

For my taste this is drinking at peak attractiveness now. Wonderful PN. Will probably grow a little more in complexity.

Premier Cru Table (The Fifth Avenue Hotel): 12524/14772. Love the vintage aromatics, so much going on, dark with superb power, somewhat thinner than I remembered. 94
