I'd say that that age 11 this wine is starting to open up. Sure, there is still tannin on the palate but the baby fat is gone. It lives up to it's traditional reputation offering more savory notes like cedar and tobacco. This is classic claret. This is at the early part of the window now and will continue to age and possibly improve for at least the next 10 years. This is a Bordeaux lovers wine for sure.
