What a find; what a bargain. Perfectly balanced and ready to drink. Lovely black current and smooth tannins. Could easily have gone another three years. Hate to have finished the last bottle!

Dark purple colour. and a little alcoholic. Restrained red and dark fruit, graphite, high-class dark chocolate, dark cocoa, coffee, spices, vanilla, light mint, and herbaceous notes. Tightly wound, even on day two. The high alcohol is lightly warming (15% ABV). Full-bodied, with great concentration, and there also is plenty of ripe tannin, and good acidity. The wine is defined by its ripeness, generous fruit and creamy oak. But big picture, the wine feels designed and artificial, and lacks character.
