  A bit past its prime but still pretty good. Cherry and vanilla, with a bit of sediment.

  On the nose, oak and leather. Medium body. On the palate, juicy, ripe tannins with long finish. Good acidity. Archtypical Bordeaux, that is drinking well now +5 years. A very good buy for the price (in Norway around 45 USD).

  Very smooth operator with a creamy texture of ripe fruits. Quite powerful oak use gives it a caramel smokey hint without being too overwhelming. Very enjoyable early mature Pessac without being too complex. Provided drinking window is maybe too pessimistic, think this will last for 5 years at least.

  Excellent, complex, earthy Pessac-Leognan showing very prominent tannins and deep red color. Drinks like a very young wine still. Wonderful with 2h of air then served with steak. You might want to hold off opening for another 3 to 5.
