The aromatics were a little subdued on the pull of the cork, but hinted at red fruits like strawberry jam and red raspberry with a hint of cinnamon. It's much darker than expected. The first small glass immediately greeted me with tart red fruits and cinnamon that coated my entire mouth, plus a green element that developed into a bay leaf / sage flavor over a couple hours. A hint of cola on the finish. Stayed similar the next day.
Light crimson in color. 14.5% ABV. Ripe red fruits and baking spices on the nose. Big, rich, fruit forward Pinot Noir. Flavors of brown sugar, black cherry, cola, cranberry and nutmeg. Tons of fruit left on a very long finish. Unabashedly New World in style. Drink over the next 2-3 years.
