My last bottle of this tasty Syrah. Still showing plenty of fruit and spice. I would say it is drinking at peak. If you have them I would certainly be drinking them but do not believe there is a big rush.

Unmistakably a syrah. Very nice, very assertive nose. All kinds of black and blue fruits. Medium body, but "yuuge" fruit produced a stellar finish. A ton of acidity, so it's great with fatty foods, not so much on its own. Minimal tannins, so I think it's time to drink up.

A pleasant surprise. Dark color, with no signs of age. Nice nose - blueberries and grilled meats. Same on the palate, along with a dash of white pepper (no mistaking it for anything else). Medium body, but still rich. Good finish. Paired very well with grilled lamb chops. Varietally correct and, at $17.55, a spectacular value. Holding up very well, but I suspect it still should be consumed within the next year or so.

Deep purple color, slow-medium legs. Aroma of pine, cocoa nibs, grape jelly, eucalyptus, strawberries, vanilla extract. Medium-plus acidity, medium-full body, smooth and polished texture. Taste of vanilla, oak, sweet black fruit with very well balanced tannins.

Fine table wine, but classic syrah aromas (e.g., black currant) are not especially prominent.
