opened and decanted about an hour. Nice nose, floral vs heavy fruit. Deep and dark in color, silky mouth feel, tannins and acids still very much present, and decently integrated that I feel will do better with more bottle time. Nice now, thinking better with more time sleeping... Medium finish and hangs on the tongue nicely

(Pepper Bridge Red Wine Pepper Bridge Vineyard Walla Walla Valley) A compelling contrast to the other wines sampled here, this wine is lightly aromatic with coffee bean, herbal notes, and dark cherries. On the palate it brings firm tannins along with rich fruit flavors of chocolate, cherry, and ripe cranberries. Lingers on the finish. A very sexy – some might say masculine - wine. Give one to two years. 55% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Malbec, and 5% Petit Verdot. Aged 20 months in French oak (48% new). 14.1% alcohol. 476 cases produced. Sample provided by winery.
