This was really lovely, really made me sit up in my seat - crisp, medium bodied, deep, concentrated flavours without excessive weight or alcohol, great balance and complexity, quite compelling.

Tropical fruits on the nose. Same on the palate along with hint of honey and mineral. This wine possesses a richness that does not morph into a overly full and flabby wine as happens with many domestic Viogniers. Great acid - reminded me in some ways of a fuller Riesling. Long finish that I did not want to end.
Really wonderful and an affirmation that aMaurice makes the best WA Viognier I have tasted.

One of my favorite whites from Washington State. This was the second bottle I've had and it did not disappoint. On the nose there was some nice honey and apricot followed by a touch of sweetness on the palate. Unlike many viogniers out there, I enjoyed some nice mineralogy on the palate and just the right amount of acidity throughout. A great food wine!

Stephen Tanzer Seattle wine Tasting Event (Palace Ballroom.): By far the best example of the WA Viognier I've tasted. Balanced and powerful (though subtle for WA Viognier) nose of melon, citrus and floral notes. Great acid. Nice mouth feal. Smooth round mouth coating. Good finish.

Served double blind. Mmm, we all know that there was very good chance this was a white Rhone varietal, but were surprised that is was both New World and Viognier. Very dry, with more than ample mineral notes that were surprising from what I assume (but could be wrong) young vines. While a slight waxy texture and scents and flavors of honeysuckle indicated a white Rhone profile, my experience with Viognier tends to display a rather overt stone orchard fruit flavors such as apricots and or peaches. Very nice stuff.
