More than a year since having the last bottle. This wine has taken on a slightly darker (tannish) appearance and developed brown sugar notes--most likely from the oak used. Very nice IMHO. Still lots of acidity that will sustain it for a few more years.
Beautiful citrus, mixed with a bit of orange rind, lemon, leather, and hints of mushrooms. Able to stand up to quite acidic foods for a substantial amount of time. Lovely wine. Quite enjoyable. Great QPR!
Really nice nose of citrus flowers, chives, kiwi, and fresh cut hay. On the palate, lush with lychee, lemongrass, grapefruit, and chive. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice saline element. Longish finish with nice balance. I would be drinking these over the next 2-3 years, they are ready to go.
