My last bottle. Color is starting to show just a hint of brown, but she is still quite fresh. There's a cool menthol tone on the nose, along with a hint of rootbeer and rhubarb. The palate shows a lively side, and is lithe and acidic. The fruit is all red apple skins and dark cherries. This is in a nice zone right now, but could still go for a while yet. Very pleasant and complete wine.
Pleasant surprise (both finding in the cellar and how it drank). PnP. Open pretty much from the get go, but did add aroma and weight throughout the evening. Good red fruit expression with really nice balance, mostly acid, some tannin. Nice, but not 'fine'. Good with food. Some earth and asian spice notes, but not really complex. In good shape, but no point in holding longer (will gladly dig around for my remaining 2 bottles - CT says they are there).

(Copain Pinot Noir Tous Ensemble) Bright strawberry, cranberry, red-cherry, rose, and violet aromas. Crisp attack of tart red fruit. The 20% new oak is seamless. Medium-bodied, with none of the hyper-ripe character of many California Pinots. 13.3% alcohol. Winery Spotlight: Domaine Marcel Deiss
