Popped and poured at restaurant. Definitely has some more developing to do, as there was so much more vibrancy, life, and juicy red berries at the end of the meal. A bit muddled and boring at the onset. Wait another year or two or decant.

Ripe fruit up front but a touch underripe at the back. Mint, menthol, and smoke (charred cork) throughout (bouquet and palate). Very good texture, not the most rounded but certainly interesting.

Burgs, Rhones, Piedmont, and Krug: Cherry with a touch of menthol, drinking well.

Absinthe - cellar selection. 25/glass. Pleasant, smooth, funk on the nose, light minimal fruit
