Dark ruby. Hint of brett on the nose. Dark fruit, tobacco, spice, with a bit of umami. Medium finish. Really nice. Could go several more years, but drinking really nicely now. A bit better on day 2.

C: Ruby N: Explosive black and blue fruits, tobacco wrapper, brine, hint of oak & smoke P: mimics the nose with black and blue fruits, chocolate covered strawberry, F: Long
The nose is intoxicating; slightly sweet, jammy fruits give way to more complex tobacco and brine notes. This is explosive on the nose and palate with black and blue fruits. Tastes more like a Cali Syrah than a Zin. Ripping acidity balances the abundance of fruit. Smooth, sweet, tannins. Absolutely delicious! Killer QPR.

This is drinkable now but should improve with some time. I can almost taste the sugar in it. Complex and pairs well with pasta. Would save the next one for six months and try again.

Just drinking much better now. It has calmed down substantially.
