  • Rather simple with good cherry-fruit, light-bodied and easy-drinking but uninspiring. The bottle we had didn't had any rustic, earth or mushroom that other notes mentioned … didn't really sing NSG to me.

    (riedel bdx)
lightly and pleasantly stinky, note of huitlacoche, with pure fruit tones at the core.

    Tastes: round 1:
Kick of black crystalline acidity on the front end of the palate, a swirl of blackberries, strawberries, with a light undertone of savory. Clean beautiful. really fires the imagination. Beautiful finish. 92-95

  • From a 375ml. #2 for palate and nose in a group of four.

    Color: Ruby

Smell: Manure, cedar, wild game, mushrooms, and a faint floral hint at roses. Such a rustic and earthy nose while still offering red fruits and light hints of cedar.

Taste: Rhubarb, sour cherry, strawberry, raspberries, hint of soy sauce

Overall: Med Tannin with wonderful balance and lithe acidity. Poised to become something special with patience and time in the bottle.
