  Kelvin's Bachelor Nite Dinner (Braise): Was so afraid that this would be a goner, the vintage being a lousy one. But on the first whiff, wow! Lovely bouquet of stewed cherries, stewed strawberries , hawthone berries and underbrush roses. Grippy acidity provides the structure for a pleasing delivery of fruit preserve, aged cherries lifted by some beef blood and zincy minerality. Somewhat salty umami character too. Respectable finish of fruit tea with bits of dried fruit. The best example of my birthyear I had ever had. Unique.
