  Nose: Cherry, red flower, bubble gum, hoisin sauce, smoke
  Notes: The color is still quite dark and this bottle is in excellent condition. It has quite some savory notes on the palate. The nose shows a good mix between fruits and candy but like most Clos de Tarts the hoisin sauce seems to be its signature aroma, having said so I don't think that particular signature nose created anything negative to the overall profile of the wine.The nose remains quite intense and memorable throughout the night but the biggest problem is that the palate hasn't caught up and is rather underwhelming comparing to the nose. Feels like this wine can live on for another decade without much problem.

  Friend thought corked but I think it's just the rusticity and burned stem quality of the wine. Thin palate.

  Classic Burgundian nose. Bursting fruit quality, with notes of plum, spice and rose pedal. Good structure, with a medium finish.
