Disappointing double magnum. Cork sunken in but not leaking. Still drinkable but clearly on its very last leg. Pale, slightly cloudy red turning mahogany. A touch of sweetness from the little fruit remaining, some acidity, tea notes. Tired. We only drank half of the bottle - a shame

RSJ 'IAN A's Greatest hits of the 1970s': Fragrant nose, dark fruits and tobacco. Weighty on the palate without being clumsy or austere; fine old Pauillac.

Wunderbarer Geruch typisch klassischer Bordeaux, im Mund reif, komplex, keine Alterserscheinung, für das Alter erstaunlich!
