Found this in the back of my cabinet, clearly past its prime, but still OK. The rich nose noted in other notes was not as evident. Some dark fruit, but not very complex. Body a bit thin, and finish short.
Popped and poured. Complex nose of blueberry, blackberry, black raspberry, smoked meat, game, anise, and olive. On the palate rich and full with blueberry, black raspberry, spice, sage, anise, olive, smoke, game. Decent finish with nice acidity and grip. I think this in a very good spot right now. I would be drinking them if I had them.

(K Vintners Syrah Milbrandt Vineyard Wahluke Slope) Lots of red fruit, most notably raspberries, along with cured meat and nut aromas. Raspberries on the taste complement a very pleasing mouth feel that is plush but not overbearing. The only thing that holds this wine back is that the nose seems a bit disconnected from the taste.
