Wow wow wow! I love this wine! I admit it's not the type of wine that most people like, especially new wine drinkers but for $20 it's the value in many years for me. The nose starts out massive amount of ripe fruits especially tart cherries and a hint of ocean breeze which absolutely endear in a wine. In the mouth it's firm and dry with loads of dried cherries. Finishes moderately long but probably longer than any other $20 wine I've had in years.
This wine probably has way too much tannins for new drinkers and even experienced enthusiasts who aren't into tannic style of wines but it is a Nebbiolo after all.

Delightful surprise found in wine storage, this opened up with loads of fresh raspberry and cherry aromas. Those developed nicely in the flavors, with a depth of earth and a raspberry tea note in the finish. Wonderful.

Characteristically Bonny Doon: lots of raspberry flavors and aromas. Fruity to start, with acidity that comes in at the finish.
