  Similar to last note, but this time around this came across as much bigger, especially after a 45 minute decant. Notes of cassis, cherry and menthol. Very nice and definitely in its drinking window.

  Very open, smooth NSG in the heart of it's drinking window. Some initial funk on the nose but it blew off quickly. Nose of red berries, wood notes and just a hint of forest floor. Broad and smooth, with a medium body, on the palate. Has an almost Chambolle elegance, but with an unmistakable NSG character. The structure and sauvage notes made it a great pairing with pan fried heritage pork chops with mushrooms. While not simple by any measure, this lacked the complexity and/or power to warrant a higher score. But so easy to drink. Drinking beautifully right now.

  Another consistent bottle which only needs 20-30 mins to open up. Just lovely and only one bottle remaining sadly.

  PnP. Opened up after 10 min in the glass. The nose is very appealing with loads of flower, some red fruit and very clean. The palate is integrated and well balance red cherry, some spice and freshness. Medium weight. The weight keeps developing in the next 1.5 hours. Very nice to drink now.
