Only about an hour decant, but needed much more. Tannic and grippy with a solid structure and good blue and black fruit backing. The tannins were just too overwhelming for me the first day and only slightly better on day 2. This is a wine that I feel like has the potential to be special and has all the right elements, it just isn't there yet. Maybe in another 3 to 5 years. I have one more bottle, hopefully it will be better the next time.
This was a really solid bottle of One Point Five, much better than my other 2010 One Point Five I drank last summer. The bouquet just exploded out of the bottle and the wine was ready to drink from the first sip. It evolved nicely as the evening progressed which sparked a lot of coffee table conversation and made the experience all the more enjoyable.
