Aged brick red, but surprisingly little sediment. Rose, strawberry, and nutmeg nose. Full bodied, crushed raspberries, bing cherries, white pepper, fully integrated tannins, and a long finish. Was it worth the wait? Hell yeah!

Nice brick color; blackcurrant, stewed tomatoes, damp forest gravel in the nose; rush of black fruit infused with black pepper notes, cigar and bell peppers. Well-rounded tannins. Very satisfying, at its peak. Three hours later, much fruit is gone, so drink now.

Well, even if the last bottle was seeming tired this one is firing on all cylinders. Fantastic bright red fruit, warm spices on the palate and finish. Amazing aromas of earth and spice. Nice acidity, tannins resolved, and some energy on the finish.
