Made by Kevin Judd, ex-winemaker of Cloudy Bay: Mid lemon, the intense nose reveals cut grass, English gooseberry, orange, kakiebos and granadilla. An edgy lively acid entry, this light-bodied wine starts off penetrating but away quickly. Still a notion of fruit with some smoked lemons, satsuma, and cut grass mixed with asparagus. Fairly rich in the mid-palate, this is a nice wine, quite juicy, but not enough oomph in the acidity to sit upright and slouches somewhat to accentuate the sweeter fruits. Seen finer days as well!

light+ lemon-green in colour A lifted aromas with plenty of bright fruits: sugar snap peas and winter greens alongside passion fruit and new season asparagus. Pronounced and ripe this is classic NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Expressive on entry with a clean, tingling acidity giving freshness and vibrancy to the wine. All the fruit on nose replicated on the palate but are join by nettle, cut grass and Granny Smith apples. Long, simple but delicious.

Drank at home, the acidity was more or less gone, but the flavors were all there. Full green fruits and bell peppers, works with food, the lack of acidity would probably make it easier for people that don't like acidity in wines. Nice body, med to long finish. Despite the loss of acidity though, it was still better than a lot of kiwi SB out there!

Light green colour, with a hint of silver. Nose of grass, elderflower. Rich and full on palate, with mint overtones. Excellent with the Christmas Day salmon.

A classy wine, certainly top a typical up front NZ sauvignon, probably because it has nearly 5 years in bottle. Grassy, herbaceous. Drink now.
