Relatively dark for pinot. Dark cherry, wood spice, florals, and some cooling basil like notes on the nose. Mid plus weighted, sappy and rich. with more dark cherry and wood spice that is evident but not intrusive. It’s pretty rich, dark fruited and structured. some cooling green herbs on the back end. I’m usually pretty. sensitive to the green meanies and this does not show much aside from at the very end of the finish. Overall a success for the vintage. Not profound, but it's pleasurable drinking. 91

No formal note: consistent with tasting of my last bottle, this was excellent, maybe now showing even a bit better. Great combination of fruit and minerality. Very good length. Was the right match with roasted lamb. Was surprised about reading some subdued tasting notes on CT, which is why I wanted to open another bottle, but it just confirmed my last impression. It's of course not the weightiest Cazetiers, being a 2011, though I thought it was very balanced overall. Drinking very well now, but give it a bit time in the glass.

Consistent with last notes, though it took quite some time to open up fully. I’d say currently a decant would be best.

Knightsbridge Annual Holiday Burgundy/Champagne Tasting and Sale (Northbrook, IL): Walk around tasting. Black fruit with good concentration, imperfect balance and a firm finish that doesn't help the wine's moderate ripeness. Tough to tell if this gets more or less appealing with more cellar time.
