There are likely many bottlings of this NV so I discount previous noters. The most solid entry level Port compared to top 5. Character of a Vintage or LBV vs Croft, Dow, Sandeman, Graham, Fonseca, taste, viscosity, mouthfeel. Not a complex Port but has the essentials, particularly in display of correct not sweet but ripe. The others can be undrinkable to a Port taster, you could hide this in a Vintage tasting, "light year".

Pop and Pour: dark as ink, smells of wet stone (what I call minerality) and of strawberry, light body, sweet, but not overly so, in both the mouth and aftertaste strawberry and acidity, the alcohol is prominent, so is a little bit hot, which is probably the reason for the good length (30 sec) it has, quite a simple and one-dimensional ruby port, there are better Reserve rubies on the market, I will not buy it again

A little lower in acidity than some others, but otherwise solid and enjoyable. Would purchase again if the price was right.

Sweet and insipid. A dreadful bottle of plonk.
