In a delightful spot at age ten. Fresh, spice, herb and floral filled black cherry. Rich fruit with juicy acidity and fine structure. Harmonious and at peak.

Medium gold. Nose of citrus particularly lemon drop. On the palate this still has razor sharp acidity but the fruit is balancing it well. Definitely more on the Chablis-like end of the spectrum; went beautifully with grilled Alaskan halibut.

Decanted for 30 minutes, but better after 45 or so. A clear medium yellow color. The nose developed into lemon, minerality, and some oak. On the medium to plus bodied palate there were notes of white fruit, mineral, oak, citrus, and some spice on the finish. The acidity was bold, which made this a good food wine. A bit more oak than we like, but maybe more decanter time will help. This wine should hold for several years.

First smell was heavy on oak and lemon pith. Pallet similar. After being open for an hour or so, oak integrated very nicely. More of a toasted nut character. Fruit opened up into more citrus, and lychee. Kept getting more interesting the longer it was open but next think I knew the bottle was empty...

Delicious tart pear, lemon, and mineral notes on the nose and bright palate with refreshing acidity on the long finish.
