Similar to a previous bottle, alcohol was also noticeably not integrated. Leesy apple flavor, shy nose. Giving this wine some air really improves things. Unfortunately still not the great '01.

This falls well short of the '01. Pop 'n pour was not very good but after an hour of being open and warming up, this was much better. Alcohol did not fully integrate. Very effervescent. Watch out for the cork! Muted nose but full body of apple, lemon, and a touch of biscuit. Helped fuel a fun night.

November Champagne at Renaissance Wines (Renaissance Premium Wines and Cigars, Orenco Station, Oregon): The nose reminds me of a lemon tart, with the crust and fruity filling all intact. I also get a hint of fresh oysters, in a good way. It's soft on contact, with bubbles and acidity that burst onto the scene in the middle. They fade fast though, leaving this with a softer finish. The citrus here is light, but the cream texture and flavors are full. A bit of minerality shows very late. This is easy to drink.
