  Robe jaune or du plus bel effet.Arômes intenses d'acacia,de fruits jaunes (pehce,mirabelle),de patisserie, de gingembre et un côté fumé très présent au fur et à mesure que le vin s'aère.La bouche est phénoménale,d'une structure impressionnante,une trame à couper au couteau.On dirait un vin d'une dizaine d'années alors qu'il en a quarante.Longueur énorme les saveurs restent collées au palais.Subjugué par cette cuvée qui est incontestablement un des vins blancs de l'année 2023...elle peut tenir encore 25 ans si le bouchon original est remplacé à bon escient.85% marsanne 15% roussanne le vin a été décanté 1h30 avant onsommation.Une bouteille prodigieuse,hélas ma dernière.Si vous en trouvez encore,jetez vous dessus !!!!

  Agree with previous note - wine was fully shining. Burgundian finessed met by Hermitage opulence and longevity - toasty smoky, ripe exotic fruits and striking minerality. Tasted bottle wasn't tired at all.

  This is my lucky year, both Guigal’s Hermitage ‘83 rouge and now blanc were in pristine condition. Tasted blind and all of us were in late 1990’s and early 2000’s, what a gorgeous surprise, still drinking so well, full of liveliness and vibrancy. Medium golden. Intense aroma of dried honey, yellow apple, vanilla, peaches, butter, dried yellow plums, petrol touch. Medium+ body, round, soft and opulent with rich fruit concentration and well balanced pronounced acidity, seductive persistent and long lasting finish.

  Fida's Private lunch with Philippe Guigal and Ralph Garcin (Gramercy Tavern): One of my favorite wines of the whole weekend which is saying something. This was just rocking. Mostly it's the depth to the wine. There's vanilla and a hint of sweet honey and a nice roundness and so much vibrancy that the wine just jumps out of the glass. In that perfect moment of a well-stored, well-aged wine. Love it.
