50 + Kleur: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 13 + Smaak / Afdronk: 17 + Algemeen / potentieel: 9 = 94/100

Colour: Golden yellow Aroma / bouquet: Wonderfully rich and ripe bouquet. Honey, roasted nuts, vanilla, brioche, butter babblers and the beginning of a tertiary touch (a touch of Madeira). Taste / Aftertaste: Mouth-filling, thick and powerful wine. Harmonious, vital but certainly on the palate with serious tertiary characteristics and therefore a (now) somewhat diminished complexity and finesse. General / Potential: For me an incredibly pleasant and tertiary Corton-Charlemagne, for many this wine may be too ripe at this stage. 50 + Color: 5 + Aroma / bouquet: 13 + Taste / Aftertaste: 17 + General / potential: 9 = 94/100

  • A huge wine but a bit too ponderous. Lacking the typical Coche grip. Showing early signs of oxidation perhaps.

  • Coche Arbor 4. Slight reduction, huge on the palate. 500-900 bottles produced, but doubling after 2013 (which produced red Corton) per Nical. (350)

  • Quite likely this was not the best example of this wine - however, it was amber in color, showing oxidation on the nose and palate. not for me, and yet not terrible.
