Plum and raspberry, medium weight, takes a bit of time to evolve in glass, the spice kicks in from the start, the hollyhock and violet woodsorrel waft from the glass. Pleasurable and easy to drink.

black and red cherry comes across as ripe and (almost) borderline jammy. Slightly sweet spice. Good concentration, then also good minerally and nuanced textured from the middle forward shows its Grand Cru Burgundy pedigree. Good now, but I'd expect this be drink well for a decade+.

(Forey Père et Fils Echézeaux) Wide and fresh aromatics that mingle herbs with the base fruit. This is good - lots of concentration, good 'fat' complex and impressive. Very nice.

Prunes, ripe cherry, nice acidity and minerality on the palate. Herbal notes in a medium long finish. Pleasant and inviting. Mature. 90-91++

Fragrant and approachable. Not as brilliant as the 06

At Gramercy Tavern before La Paulee. Deep concentration, a little overripe. Not as clean or pleasurable as previous bottle opened.
