  • Gorgeous cherry and tobacco. Very delicate and precise. Wonderfully resolved.

  • This leads with "this is an aged wine" out of the gates with mushroom and damp forest floor fungus smells leading (nice) along with dark fruits. This drank well over hours but the expression was always subtle, a bit muted. Medium body and on its own, particularly in the hour after PnP, elegant and transparent with whiffs of red fruits, currants, pipe tobacco, and leather. With food it got pushed to the background. A classy wine. This is in its drinking window backend . Drink up.

  • The wine has medium acidity. It smells like mushroom, red currant, lead pencil, tea, black currant (cassis) and stems. The body is full. The wine finishes long. It tastes like prune, tobacco, red currant and bell pepper. The wine looks purple colored. There is light sediment in the bottle. The wine has fleshy texture.

Drinking wonderfully now. Fantastic. Purchased at Woodard Wines in McMinnville, OR.

  • Very nice and drinking well now. Very bright acids and terrior notes with fresh red curant, bamble, sweet hebs/tabacco, gaphite and pencil shavings, austere quality with soft rose petal notes. The wine shows nice developement with an oragne rim set up against a light cimson core. I liked this wine and went well with pan seared salmon, chantelle puee, haricot beans, and celeriac root froth.
