  You get greeted with what feels like 200% new oak. After a while it starts opening up more. Vanilla, honey, stone fruit, nuts and wax. Very oily mouthfeel, and quite a lot of bitters. Long finish. Elegance is not something this wine knows, very big and bold. Well-made but not my style. Not a punishment to drink by any means.

  Rich, oily, peach, wax, flowers, a substantiall bitter note, lemon peel. Not my style, but objectively a good and well made wine.

  BYOB dinner NOTK (Rotterdam, NL): Right upon opening, a lot of oak (and I mean a lot of oak). But with 20 minutes this really showed itself with apricot, honey, bee wax, minerality, vanilla (obviously). Medium acidity, long finish (with a nice bitter note)

  Light golden color, big, rich, yet elegant, predominantly Marsanne, complex nose with floral notes, honey, long finish, years to go.
