Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 93 points

  • More deep bouquet than the 1992 with also good garrigue, and earth. The fruits are more dark and there is a touch of celery. On the palate also more full bodied than the 1992 and more developed as well. There are good herbs and spices, a firm amount of acidity and the tannin still has some bite. Some bitterness in the medium finish. Although more beautiful than the 1992 at this moment, I think there is more hurry to drink the 1991. 91 - 92

  • Pristine bottle, completely solid cork. Was rather tight on opening and a bit dusty. With a few minutes air, the balance appeared and it was an a amazing well aged CdP. Dark grenache fruit, fully resolved tannins.
By far the best 78 point wine I've ever enjoyed.
