Wine was properly stored from purchase upon release at the winery until consumed. Beautiful bouquet, berries, fruit. Fully resolved. Touch of tobacco. Light tannins. Lovely mature ready.

Stood up for 1 wk. Decanted off sediment. Took about 1.5-2 h to open and 2.5h for the wine to come together. Lovely, seamless aromas of flowers, dried cherries, dried blackberries, leather, a hint of balsamic vinegar, and bark. Elegant palate of dried cherries, unripe plums, leather, game meats, hints of balsamic vinegar, and flowers. Moderately long finish of dried cherries, mild game meats, bark and earth that gently lingers. Medium bodied w excellent acids and moderate tannins on midpalate. Nice concentration. Elegant, beautifully balanced. Lovely. 93+

Auction purchase, stood up for a couple weeks and PnP. Consumed in Zalto BDX.
Really rustic cab syrah blend from Provence. My first experience with the producer. This bottle was very sound. Some game, red fruits, and hay. Great freshness given the bottle age.

Not a wine I was previously familiar with. Initially with a bit of brett? and clipped metallic finish but with some air expansive considerable. Fantastic, expressive complex nose of tobacco and cedar and hints of olive. Palate is rounded and integrated, mostly tertiary fruit at this stage but strong length. Soft acidity and mild tannins imply this is mature, but the length is surprisingly lengthy an complex for such a meek wine. I will have to seek this out in the future.
