very tight and rather brittle cork, popped and poured, still quite youthful colour but now with hints of brown at the rim, warm, rich, fine aromatic nose, palate rich, good flavour and length, a distinct improvement on my previous impression, obviously needed a bit more time, still not really my style

tight cork, quite youthful colour still with purple tinge, distinctly raisiny and rather extracted character to both nose and palate, some finesse and elegance, good but not my style

perfect mid-neck level, very tight cork, black cherry red colour, almost no brown, still relatively youthful, distinct legs on the glass, nose of warm fruit, some hint of alcohol (14%), rich warm almost cooked fruit on the palate, rather straightforward and not really complex, a bit short, dry finish, overall probably a good example and now into its drinking window but just not my thing, unfortunate because I have 10 more bottles, a warm (climate) wine

This was nice. I opened this to use for cooking a red wine reduction steak sauce, and I wasn't expecting much. After my first choice for dinner was corked, I saved a bit of this to try and was pleasantly surprised. Very fruit forward and bright acidity. Finish is strong. A little bit to candied for me, but was happy to try.

long and tight cork, dark, almost opaque colour, still distinctly purple, young, nose of deep rich fruit, blackberries, powerful, fine; palate very good, has depth, concentration and balance with long tannin-rich finish, good potential but for my personal taste just too young to have developed any real complexity, try again in 10 years, others may prefer the more primary fruit phase
