  • Again another delicious bottle! Almost transparent orange, ripe red cherries, brown sugar nose.... and still very fruity taste, the bottle was finished in no time, just plain delicious!

  • wow, super powerful nose of framboises mûres, brown sugar, orange peel... taste of very sweet red fruit, apricot, orange peel, citrus finish, very elegant... amazing for a 60 year old wine!!

  • Opened at noon and just poured two small glasses, the nose was showing some ripe red currants, it tasted quite light with ripe red cherries and a hint of drying tannins, the wine didn't develop much with 15 min in the glass... I thought it was already a performance for a 57 years old Chateauneuf to be drinkable... 88 points
In the evening, after 10 hours slow oxygenation, I was not expecting much... but it started quite well with a beautifull nose of very ripe red raspberries and strawberries, brown sugar, asian spices, very animal nose... also the taste was beautifull, with sweet raspberries, asian spices and a nice acidity... the wine became better with every glass, and at the end we were fighting for the last sip of this bottle... great wine 94 points!!
